Golf Facilities

To become a First Tee program location, the PGA of Canada coaches at your facility are required to complete First Tee training. Your respective First Tee provincial chapter will work with you to determine what level of training is required for your facility.

First Tee program locations must also provide free access to their driving range for First Tee participants before and after their lessons. Additionally, access to the facility for one First Tee – Canada fundraising event annually will be required, with more detailed information available on your respective First Tee provincial chapter’s website.

Schools

The First Tee School Program uses golf lessons to introduce students to character development during physical education class. This program gives physical educators all the tools to get started. First Tee – Canada will provide the training, equipment and lesson plans that integrate life skills and values with the game of golf and motor skills.

Chapter staff will support schools with the implementation of the First Tee – Canada School Program. Chapter staff will assist with identifying funding sources, school registration, teacher training and equipment delivery.

Community Centres

The First Tee Community Program was specifically designed for youth-serving organizations such as YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club. Our Community Program adapts to any setting, class time, and class size. Youth leaders also have access to First Tee’s online community for additional support, resources, and connection with peers.

Chapter staff will support community centres with the implementation of the First Tee – Canada Community Program. Chapter staff will assist with identifying funding sources, community centre registration, training and equipment delivery.
